Are you ready to challenge yourself, connect with nature, and have a ton of fun? Elkhorn Outfitters, your trusted partner in adventures, organizes an annual event to do just that. It starts with a 10-mile bike ride, then has a 9-mile paddle board cruise, and finishes off with a 2-mile river float with a provided cooler. We’re making it the outdoor event of the summer in Omaha.

So gear up, adventurers, and join us for a day that promises the perfect blend of exhilaration, serenity, and breathtaking natural beauty to create a memorable outdoor summer event in Omaha.
What to Expect
Start Times
Racers should check in between 8:00 and 9:30 a.m.
Shotgun start is at 10:00 a.m., and the race begins!
Phase 1: Pedal
Your adventure starts with a heart-pumping 10-mile bike ride. As your legs power you forward, immerse yourself in the epic views of the river valley. When you’re done, we’ll transport your bikes back to the starting line.
Phase 2: Paddle
Once you’ve conquered the bike ride, trade your helmet for a paddle. Glide across waters for 9 miles on a stand-up paddle board trip down the Elkhorn River as you race towards the finish line!
Phase 3: Float
Enjoy the river and beverages to finish the trip with some relaxation. A six-pack of beverages (per person) will be provided with the float, followed by a free grill-out meal at the end of the float trip.

Yes! You can bring your own bike, or you can rent a bike from Elkhorn Outfitters.

You're allowed to use an e-bike, but it will disqualify you from the race and prize!

There is a $50 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot.

Unless there's active lightning, the race will go on as scheduled. We will only offer refunds if Elkhorn Outfitters needs to cancel for safety reasons.

Elkhorn Outfitters will provide the paddle boards for that portion of the race.

Roughly 2 miles of the bike trail will be gravel; the rest will be pavement.
