With Elkhorn Outfitters, tubing is even easier. We provide all the equipment you need, plus transportation to and from the river back to your vehicle. Our team takes care of all the logistics, so all you need to do is kick back and enjoy the ride.

We provide all the gear
Life jacket, tube, and the hardware to keep your group connected—we provide all of that. We’ll even provide a tube for a cooler for groups of 4 or more!
Easy transportation
We’ll take you up the river for an easy float back to your car! All floaters need to arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled float time to make sure you catch the bus.
Rain or shine!
Be prepared for your tubing adventure, even in the event of rain! We only cancel in unsafe weather conditions, and we’ll let you know ahead of time.

What to Expect
Elkhorn River tubing trips typically last 4 to 6 hours, depending on the river conditions. Be sure to pack what you’ll need for that amount of time, like sunscreen!
Our team will provide tubes, life jackets, and the hardware to connect your tubes together. We also have tubes to hold coolers for groups of 4 or more!
We ask all floaters to arrive at our designated lot 20 minutes before your scheduled float. You’ll sign waivers and pay your parking fee ($5 per car) before getting on the bus.
Keep in mind that floats happen rain or shine! Elkhorn Outfitters only issues refunds if we need to cancel due to unsafe weather or river conditions.
Where to Park
Our parking lot is near Bloodrush and the McNeil Soccer Complex. There is a $5 car parking fee, and the bus leaves from the lot to take you to the river.

It's possible for tubing to be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities. However, we typically recommend ages 10 and up for tubing. If you have a younger child you'd like to bring, reach out to us.

We recommend sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. You can bring any type of drink you like, but no glass containers. You'll be on the water for several hours, so it's recommended that you bring water to drink, too.

Thunderstorms and river flooding are the two main reasons we would cancel your tubing trip. In those cases, we would offer you the opportunity to reschedule or get a refund. Your safety is our top priority. Refunds are only issued if Elkhorn Outfitters cancels the float.
